We just wanted to let you know how much we are appreciating your work. We truly feel like we have stumbled upon a gold mine. The way you interact with the children, your love and care for them and your expertise provides  an environment in which she can learn and thrive academically but also where she feels a sense of belonging.

She had commented several times in the course of the holiday break how much she misses school and that she is looking forward to go back to school. As you can imagine that has never happened in the public school system.

Lauren from Lancaster Reading Solutions has made such a difference in our daughter’s life. Her reading, fluency, and comprehension have all improved dramatically. In the last few weeks, [our daughter] has really exploded with reading!  She’s reading 1 or 2 chapters of a book with me each night (that I need to help with a word every couple of sentences), and then after I leave, is reading another chapter or two of Magic Treehouse by herself and can sound out any word that she doesn’t know.  It’s been amazing to watch the switch turn on for her!  

I know she’s still a developing reader, and has a ways to go until she’s fully proficient, but she has exceeded my expectations for her this year by leaps and bounds.  Given this, I think we are going to stop reading tutoring.  She’s going to be so sad, because she truly enjoys her time with you (Jay)!  You’ve been beyond amazing and really an answer to prayer - meeting her exactly where she was this fall, and gently pulling her along.  Thank you so much!
